A document attributed to the General Inspectorate of National Education and New Citizenship is circulating on social media, setting the fees for participation in the regular session of the State Exam, and in which graduating students in South Kivu Province are required to pay 72,000 FC.The General Inspectorate of National Education and New Citizenship informs the public that this document does not originate from its offices and must therefore be considered a forgery.
Thus, any information stating a financial requirement to participate in said exam must be considered an attempt to disrupt the smooth conduct of the upcoming assessments (ENAFEP, TENASOSP, EXETAT, JUNACYC).
The Governor of South Kivu Province has in no way set the amount of the participation fee for the State Exam.
To this end, the General Inspectorate reserves the right to take legal action against the perpetrators of this false information, who seek to destabilize school activities amid a security crisis. It also reassures all students that all learning-related activities (tests, training, assessments), overseen by its services, will be conducted without exception.
Furthermore, the General Inspectorate wishes to reassure parents and all stakeholders that the Government will not leave the people of South Kivu behind. It is working to ensure collective support for all candidates in North Kivu 1, North Kivu 2, North Kivu 3, South Kivu 1, South Kivu 2, and South Kivu 3.
