The Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST), Professor Tony Mwaba Kazadi, visited on Monday, March 11, 2024, the construction site of the new building for the National Directorate for Monitoring, Payroll Preparation, and Management of Teacher and Administrative Staff in Educational Institutions (DINACOPE) to inspect the progress of the work, which will enable the staff of this department to work in better conditions for the benefit of educators.

"This is an inspection visit to review the construction of the new building that will house DINACOPE. It is a major department responsible for supporting teachers. Until now, the staff has worked in subhuman conditions. Now, as you can see at this construction site, we have come to observe the progress of work on this large, modern, single-story building with a large meeting room that will house all of DINACOPE’s departments,” Minister Tony Mwaba stated in an interview with the press.

The head of the EPST also highlighted the major role played by his ministry’s School Infrastructure Directorate in the construction of this new building, work that is expected to continue until May 2024.

"Our School Infrastructure Directorate, which has teams stationed everywhere with all the necessary technicians, will help us bring this building to fruition, and that is what we are counting on. It is also thanks to the operating funds we are making available to this directorate that this building will finally be completed," he said.

This marks a new initiative launched by Professor Tony Mwaba to restore the Ministry of EPST to its former glory.
