As scheduled, following his visit to Lubumbashi, the Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST), Professor Tony Mwaba Kazadi, arrived in Mbuji-Mayi, in the province of Kasaï-Oriental, on Sunday, June 25, 2023, to officially launch the regular session of the State Examination, 2023 edition, at the Mazarero Technical and Vocational Institute, located in the Katanda Territory, in the Katanda II Sub-Division.
This latest tour of the provinces is part of the grassroots governance approach advocated by the head of the EPST, with the aim of closely monitoring the implementation of his directives at the local level, but also and above all to gain firsthand insight into the effective implementation of free public primary education on the ground—a flagship vision of the five-year term of the President of the Republic and Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo. This is what justifies the launch of the certification exams in the various provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Last year, Professor Tony Mwaba Kazadi launched the State Exam in Kolwezi in Lualaba Province. And this year, Kasaï-Oriental was chosen.
For the record, the Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education arrived in the city of Mbuji-Mayi just as the Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, was attending the silver jubilee Mass of Bishop Bernard Kasanda Musenga at Bonzola Stadium.
