The Haut-Katanga 1 Educational Province informs the public that a fight broke out at Le Printemps 1 school, prompting the immediate intervention of the Provincial Educational Authorities.
To this end, the school’s Disciplinary Council convened an emergency meeting to assess the situation and take the necessary decisions as directed by the provincial school authorities.
Consequently, exemplary disciplinary measures have been taken against all students involved, in accordance with current regulations, and educational and psychological support will be provided to the students concerned to prevent such incidents in the future.
At the same time, school principals in the Haut-Katanga Educational Province are called upon to strengthen supervision and awareness within their respective schools, recognizing that it is essential to promote discipline, mutual respect, and non-violence as fundamental values of our Congolese educational system.
Consequently, parents are invited to work closely with schools to instill in their children the importance of respecting rules and living together harmoniously.
The Haut-Katanga 1 Educational Province reaffirms its commitment to ensuring a healthy, safe, and conducive school environment for learning. Any act of violence will be dealt with the utmost firmness to preserve the integrity and reputation of our institutions.
