The National Selection, Academic, and Career Guidance Test (TENASOSP) will be held for the second time in 2023 since its establishment by Ministerial Decree No. 005/2022 of January 13, 2023.
According to the 2022–2023 school calendar, this assessment, which certifies the completion of basic education with a diploma, is scheduled for Thursday, June 15, and Friday, June 16, 2023.
In total, 1,571,285 candidates have been registered, including 889,037 boys (57%) and 682,248 girls (43%). These candidates will be seated in 5,276 different testing centers, including two outside the country’s borders (Luanda and Cabinda, in Angola).
The administrative province of Kinshasa recorded the highest number of participants overall, with 168,748 students, including 85,257 girls, while the province of Bas-Uele recorded the fewest candidates, with 12,337 students, including 5,471 girls.
As a reminder, this exam paves the way for the four-year high school program. This program culminates in a state-issued diploma.
