Tshatshi Elementary School, located within the Tshatshi camp in Kinshasa, received a large shipment of desks. The ceremony to hand over these desks, manufactured by the National Service, took place on Tuesday, September 17. This donation came 24 hours after complaints regarding shortages were submitted to the Head of State, Félix Tshisekedi, and the Minister of National Education and New Citizenship, Raïssa Malu, during their visit to the school. These newly manufactured desks will help improve learning conditions at the school, thereby addressing the issue of overcrowding in classrooms. Meanwhile, additional measures are planned for the construction of new school buildings. As a reminder, on Monday, September 17, the President of the Republic and the Minister of Education and New Citizenship jointly visited Tshatshi Primary School and Yolo Nord Primary School No. 1. Wherever he went, the Head of State instructed the administrators of these schools to emphasize “New Citizenship” in the education of students. Deleine Diazolakana
