This was the first meeting between the Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST), Professor Tony Mwaba Kazadi, and the new members of the Board of Directors of the Fund for the Promotion of Education and Training (FPEF), led by its Chairman, Christian Bushiri Ongala. The minister spoke at length about the challenges facing the organization’s mission in 2023 in light of the expectations of the Head of State, who selected the new leadership team.
During the meeting, the need to produce results to present to President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi and the Congolese people by June of this year was emphasized.
"We must pull out all the stops this year to achieve the expected results," said the FPEF’s Chairman.
Faced with this urgency, Minister Tony Mwaba made a firm commitment to support the Board of Directors of the Fund for the Promotion of Education and Training on the political front to move forward with pending issues, particularly fundraising.
The goal is therefore to secure sufficient resources for the FPEF, as stipulated in the decree signed by the Prime Minister, in order to achieve the objectives, because, it must be emphasized, this organization is tasked with providing school desks to educational institutions and building schools throughout the Republic.
