The Annual Performance Review (APR) process began on Wednesday, August 2, in the Kinshasa-Plateau Educational Province, in accordance with the school calendar. Addressing participants from eight educational sub-provinces, the Director of the Educational Province (Proved), Clément Mukanya, emphasized the need to rise to the challenge and deliver the expected results. “You are here to do a commendable job to save our province. The RAP is scheduled for three days; don’t think of them as too many because you have other things to do (...) This is the most important forum that decides the life or death of the province. If your school hasn’t been reviewed here, it won’t exist here. All schools in difficulty must be represented. Here, I am appealing to the deputy principals who manage schools in their vicinity,” he emphasized in his speech. Clément Mukanya stressed the importance for the Kinshasa-Plateau educational province to respond to the recommendations from higher authorities. “You know the recommendations made to us by higher authorities that we must implement on time. We must already be on the ground carrying out all the expectations of higher authorities; we must already be seen making changes because there is no time to waste,” he continued. Launched today, the Annual Performance Review (APR) will take place over three days, through Friday, August 4. Ouriel Mangitukwa & Thierry Mbebangu
