News
23 June 2023
The South Kivu 1 educational province expects a total of 47,902 candidates for the 2022–2023 academic year, which begins this Monday, June 26, 2024. The Eastern Kasai 2 educational province, on the other hand, has recorded the lowest number of students, with only 3,665 final-year students expected. It should be noted that nationwide, 1,002,806 candidates are expected for the long cycle, compared to 5,447 for the short cycle. Furthermore, it should be noted that Professor Tony Mwaba Kazadi, Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST), will travel to Kasaï Oriental for the official launch of the 56th edition of the EXETAT. To address capacity constraints, the number of testing centers has been increased this year. 2,827 centers have been selected for the long cycle, averaging 355 candidates per testing center, and 275 centers for the short cycle, averaging 20 candidates per center.
