The Kinshasa Lukunga educational province has just recorded the highest pass rate in the release of the 2023 State Exam (EXETAT) results across Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The student in question is Ty Kayombo Luboya from the Les Loupiots school complex, who scored 87% in the Science track. With results from Tshangu and other areas now known, Ty Kayombo stands out as the top performer in the DRC following this achievement. He is followed by another top-scoring student, this time from Boboto Middle School in the same educational province. This is Christelle Kwey Maduma, who scored 86% in Latin and Philosophy. Having exceeded the required 85%, these top scorers are now among the candidates eligible for the Excellentia scholarship initiated by the First Lady of the DRC, Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi. As a reminder, this program, launched four years ago, rewards the efforts of the top EXETAT graduates across the country by fully funding the higher education of the selected candidates.
